谌贻琴强调，要加强顶层设计，分层分类指导各级足球青训中心建设，构建梯次培养、逐级输送、衔接有序的足球人才培养选拔通道，厚植中国足球人才基础。
国家足球青训中心是依托国家奥林匹克体育中心现有资源建设，集“训赛科教医”于一体的高水平国家足球后备人才培养基地。
